Install from an official source and read the developer’s launch and account requirements. A downloaded game is not automatically ready for offline use.
Test the launcher
If a launcher is involved, follow its current instructions for offline use. Check the intended game and mode rather than assuming every installed title behaves the same way.
Check progress
Test how saves behave without connectivity and understand how cloud features work when the connection returns. Follow official support guidance when uncertain.
Keep a record
Document the tested version, device and date. Revisit the checklist after a game or launcher update.
